So I woke this morning with uncertainties how today was going to work... Nic being home and what not. I decided to play it by ear more or less and see where I needed to be when and so forth, but Sasha had responded to my facebook message about the extra transport ticket I had and so I told him I'd meet him at the Colosseo and he could buy it for 15 euro, at least I won't be out as much...
So Raffa asked me what my plans were for the day, I told her I was meeting a friend at 12 but other than that, nothing. She asked me if I could be back at the house at 2 to watch Nic when Anita left. I said OF COURSE! :) So I got on the train after a bit of hanging out with Nic in the morning, then I took the A line metro to the termini where I realized I should have just taken the B line straight from the flat, I always forget the Colosseo is on B line... now I'm late. I hate being late too... So I finally make it to our meeting spot and find him, exchange greetings, then give him the ticket, and he said since he was 29 he was too old to use a student pass. I didn't know this... I apologized and said I would give him back his money, he said he would try using it and hopefully just not get caught. If one of my 7 friends in Roma gets fined because of me, it will be harder to find someone to hang out with on Saturday nights...
After Sasha headed to class, I went to a trattoria he'd recommended before nearby to have lunch. The pizza Margherita was delicious, the peroni was terrible (I don't know why I try it again and again) and the tiramisu' was the 2nd best I've had... but it was NOT worth the 20 euro. There was some shady glances coming my way from a table of 3 guys and the owner? of the establishment soon joined them... I felt like there was some sort of mob deal going on without me knowing... but half the time I think that here anyway when a group of people incessantly glance at me. Dang you Hollywood influences. After some lunch I headed back to the flat and we played with Nic for a while then we had Lavi and Marti came up for dinner. After dinner we watched the Spongebob Squarepants movie. It was pretty funny... I laughed at least a couple times and the songs were catchy. After the movie, Lavi and Marti headed back downstairs, Nic brushed his teeth, then went to bed.
I'm trying to keep the next couple of blogs clear and concise after the Deutschland debacle... ;)
Ok, that's about it. "I'm a Goofy Goober! ROCK!!!"
