Jonathan Livingston Seagull

Ottobre 13, 2010

Today I headed down to Villa Ada for some intense pullups/pushups/inclined bicycles/ and some sort of oblique exercise I improvised... then I ran back... my abs haven't felt that "bad" in a while. I walked to the post office and figured my way around its ticket system, waited a bit, then picked up my package. The man asked for my verification of who I was, I gave him my driver's license... he then began to tell me about big John Wayne and how great he was... duh. I agreed whole-heartedly. I got my package from my friend and it was 2 books for my birthday. Jonathan Livingston Seagull is one of the best books I've read... I couldn't put it down until I finished. Fortunately and at the same time unfortunately , it was short. Nonna came by to help Nic with his Italian math then take Nic to tennis and cook dinner for us tonight... (ossobuco- tastes like tender, delicious smoked brisket YUM, and ravioli al sugo). She also made a cream torta I'll have to try tomorrow. I didn't do much of anything today... But I did do a bit of art... some not much... but more than none. Short post today... lame I know. sorry. Now Giorgio and I are watching an old WWII film in Italian, it had the bomb scene that Valkyre had, the valkyre mission... less dramatic, but still went boom.

Ok, ttyl... :)

like Paula Dean says...

"Best wishes and best dishes y'all! oh, and slather some butter on that, then it's dunn!"
